Its been over two year the Zambian Rapper, Chef 187 decided to drop a song. The brand new song called “Shadow Boxing” has gotten fans so excited after waiting for a long period. The last official single Chef 187 dropped was 360 which dropped in 2024. His brand is so strong. A lot of artists would lose relevance going that long without releasing any music for their fans. Chef 187’s brand doesn’t seem to shake in anyway.

There some rumors that have been circulating that Chef 187 has been working on album in the background. That might be true looking at how long he has stayed away from releasing music and fans got was songs he featured on.
This song by Chef 187 is controversial. Some music fans feel he might have dissed rapper Aqualaskin. Back then, Aqualaskin had dropped a song on the same day Chef 187 was dropping his album.
Some fans felt that was disrespectful and despised him from that day. On Chef 187’s latest release, he raps “Kwata ama boundary ,uchefyeko nendombolo.” That line has made fans go crazy and people feel its directed at Aqualaskin. In an interview with Chimweka, Aqualaskin says his song Bladi Spot was not at all directed at Aqualaskin, he further said “If there’s someone I’d love to live like, it’s him!
