Super talented Tanzanian singer Barnaba releases a brand new single titled “Salama”. The brand new song marks Barnaba’s Celebrations of 16 years in his music career. The song features Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz. On this song, Barnaba talks about Freedom and Peace after breakup with his ex. He says on the song “Niko salama salama sijui wewe huko” which translates “I’m at peace, I don’t know how you are doing over there”. He also talks about how wonderful his new relationship is. He says “Huku napewa nyama kwa nyama” which means “Here I’m getting full satisfaction”.
He also talks about the toxic patterns which were in the relationship and declares he doesnt want to return to such. He sings “Kufumania kila siku, kushikana mashati” which means “Always catching each other cheating, grabbing each other’s clothes”. The relationship was very toxic. A heartbreak is so painful.
