Nigerian super talented singer, song writer and peformer Ruger has released a brand new album tagged “Blown Boy Ru”. This is his first ever project under his new label Blown Boy Entertainment following his depature from Jonzing World in 2024. His new album consists of thirteen song. The artists featuring on this album are Zlatan, Kranium, Valiant, Haile, and Tiwa Savage. Production of songs on this album were handled by Kukbeatz, The Elements, and Ruger himself. Ruger has been in the Nigerian Music Industry for a while now. His rise can be traced from the time he had released his smash hit single “Bounce” in 2021 which lead him to being signed under Jonzing Records. The success of his hit single led him to release his debut EP tagged “Pandemic” the same year. The following year which was in 2022, he decided to release another EP tagged “The Second Wave”.
He released several hit singles such as Girlfriend and Champion which were both released in 2022. After parting ways with Jonzing Records, Ruger now owns his own record label and all we can do is wish him success. Nigerian Music has been growing for the past decade and it has produced so many talented artists. Some of the top Nigerian artists are; Burna Boy who is a global superstar and Grammy Award Winning artist, Wizkid another Grammy Award Winning artist, Davido a very successful Afrobeat artist, entrepreneur and has released countless hit singles, Rema a young talented rising superstar, Tiwa Savage a female singer whose been active in the Nigerian Music for over a decade. All these artists i have mentioned have contributed so much to the Nigerian Music Industry and without any doubt, they will go down as legends.
