Zambian multi talented top notch male back to back hit singer, songwriter, record producer and music producer – Yo Maps, who is also known as Olio and Yo Boy, has finally earned his title as an international artist. Yo Maps, who is not new to social media backlash and shots, has been mocked for calling himself an international artist, has finally won an award as “Best International Artist Of The First Year” at the I AM Award which was hosted in Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, USA. This was during the same week that the BET Awards were being hosted.
However, Yo Maps was not available in person to collect the award himself, but he was represented by former Zambian singer and songwriter, who is now an American citizen. This is not only a huge achievement for the founder and C.E.O of Olios Records, but also for the Zambian Music Industry as well. As they say it in Zambia that “Zambia Kuchalo”. Yo Maps has been one of Zambia’s best artist since his breakthrough in 2018 with the song finally, he has definitely cemented his legacy as one of Zambia’s best vocalist, as he has continued to give back to back hit singles ever since till date.
