Copperbelt Province based rapper – Pilato, has come through with his latest song titled “Mwangale Bwino”. The song marks as his first official track for this month of July, 2024. Pilato, who is signed under Kopala Swag Music and Alpha Entertainments Music, has been one of the most consistent music artist in the country. In 2016, he joined politics by mocking the previous government which was PF Government. He was later arrested at Chimbokaila Prison and later released. Pilato, whose real name is Fumba Chama, is mostly known for songs like “Machende Yesu”, “Yes I Do”, “What If”, “Mr Speaker” and many others.
On this song, he features another Zambian fast rising musician – Mr Turner. This is the first song he has released for this year, as he has been dropping documentaries in form of songs. When the UPND won the 2021 elections, he was given a government position as Permanent Secretary for Youth, Sports and Child Development, which he still holds till date. Pilato is one of the most rare musician to have never released an album or E.P, he has continued with singles, ever since his breakthrough in music since the early 2000s.
